I wrote this song with Gary Burr about 10 years ago, and have loved it ever since. To me this is a real, grown up song about a relationship in trouble. So many people have been there. Being in love comes and goes. There are ups and downs of a long term partnerships, and this song raises the question as to whether or not they will weather the storm, and stick it out. Do we or don’t we stay together?- how many have asked that question. The conversational quality it has felt like a natural duet when I dug it up and started to listen to it again. Johnny Reid and I have very different voices, which is why I think this worked so well.

There was a song on the radio a few years ago say in the last five?… anyway…I was always sure it was Terri but I can’t figure out for the life of me what the song was? Anybody? It’s not much help…but I can’t find much of a list anywhere saying what songs she has done as a duet

Yes, being in the states, if we don’t go to the internet, we don’t usually get to hear, many of the Canadian artists. I was fortunate, to hear a couple of Johnny Reid’s songs while in CA for the Fergus show. He has different vocal ranges for different songs, in my opinion. So to hear you and Johnny together, fantastic!! Thank you Terri for these snippets, all of them.

It’s another great Terri Clark song- but the duet is awesome! I’ve missed Terri’s voice and songs and am thrilled to hear her again. We’re all waiting for her to return to Texas- especially Houston so that we can hear it live !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
