Hey everyone!

Things have been crazy busy lately, so I apologize that it’s taken so long for an update. I’ve been doing the radio show five days a week and working hard to finish up the album with Michael Knox. We are really happy with how it sounds thus far and Universal Canada has scheduled the first single, “Some Songs” to go out to Canadian country radio on May 26th. We are shooting the video for the song on May 25 up in Canada. I’m very excited to get this new music out to you guys!

You have been so supportive by pledging on the exclusives and helping me get the word out about this new record on socials. I’m really anxious to hear what you think of the new music! I actually wound up cowriting almost half of the songs on the album, which is more than I anticipated with my new schedule – but sometimes an artist delivers best when it’s their own voice and words.

We are headed to Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth for a show this Saturday where I am going to debut a few tunes from the new album live. Then it’s back to Nashville for more recording, the radio show, and rehearsals with the band for CMA MusicFest in June. I’m really looking forward to the fan club party this year as well as the Riverstages performance on Sunday. Dress cool because Nashville is super hot in June and the humidity levels are insane! The band and I are excited to get to see you all at Tootsie’s and play some new and old music. We aren’t able to do as many shows this year due to the radio schedule, so any chance to play and we are IN!

Take care everyone and I hope to see you down the road soon!!!!

Hey Ms. Clark. I’ve been following your shows since the 90s. I learned to play three chords in Iraq in 2004. I enlisted in the Air Force in 1990. I’ve always been attracted to a cowgirl. When I first saw you, or a CD, that hat, that dark hair, and those eyebrows and flashy eyes, I fell in love with a female singer. I actually sing your songs by guitar and on computer. I sing Tenor in my church choir. I’m 46 years old now, but I’ve been in love with your music and the way you maintain yourself through the years and your attitude on stage. I still have shirt you signed more than 10 years ago..It faded and at a Billy Bob’s show a few years ago, you went over it with a felt marker..and it’s awesome…you bent over the table and kissed me on the cheek..I could’ve grabbed you..haha…I’m thankful you took time ..I think I was one of the last ones in line, but you didn’t just turn around and walk off…Thank YOU!! .I’m tempted to have that T-shirt framed. My favorite song is “I Think The World Needs A Drink” and ever since …it’s made me think of the military..and society…but my military life led me to tour mostly in the states but have been to Alaska, Saudi Arabia twice, Baghdad, Diego Garcia a month after the WTC was hit for 9/11. That was when I knew this stuff was for real. It was just a job until that. I really love what you’re doing and that you do it so well. I wish I could actually meet someone like you and settle down…that would be awesome to be married to a country singer lol. I’ve been divorced twice, but the first was 15 yrs ago and only 9 months but when there’s kids involved like this recent one, it rips your flesh in half. I’ve read about your trials also, and it really takes a lot of heart and praying to get back on your feet and move forward. My girls are 5 & 7, but their mom and I have a strong friendship and we never say bad things in front of them. We know that they are looking at us to model from. Anyway, to make a long story longer. I hope to see you soon! :-)

Roadie for the Day: Up Close and Personal with “Northern Girl” Terri Clark

On May 10, 2014, I had the opportunity and “Ultimate Life Time” experience with Terri’s Pledge Music Campaign for “Roadie for the Day” at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth Texas.
Terri is vibrant, funny, humble and genuine. As always she is a crowd pleaser, has an amazing interaction and connection with her audience. To sum up my experience after spending the day with Terri, her band, other roadie’s and crew, “Life can’t get any better than this!”
