Corkscrew Media is pleased to announce the completion of Prairie Town, a one-hour performing arts documentary narrated by the one and only Randy Bachman.
Prairie Town showcases the music, artists and excitement of Country Music Week, which took place in Winnipeg, Manitoba this year. Prairie Town showcases the passion and drive behind the music, featuring interviews and musical performances by top country artists Terri Clark, Dierks Bentley, Doc Walker, Jessie Farrell, Johnny Reid, Deric Ruttan and Paul Brandt. This fast-paced documentary is a fly-on-the-wall glimpse of what it’s like to be a country star in Canada.
Prairie Town was written by Brent Kawchuck and was produced by Blake Horobin and Michelle Wong, with Michael Sorel as Director of photography and JP Rizzuto directing.
Produced in association with Country Music Television, with the assistance of the Government of Alberta, Alberta Film Development Program and the Manitoba Film and Video Production Tax Credit Program, Prairie Town will have its television premiere on CMT Sunday Jan. 4 at 8 pm MST.
