I concur with Crissy…great show! And we really lucked out with the rain. Drunk girl was ….interesting. On to the next show!! I must say, coming from NC the weather here, temp wise, is great!
Last night’s show in Fergus was great! As we got to the truck show and got into line to get into the entertainment area, it began to rain. Pouring down rain. Thankfully, I had an umbrella and was able to stay relatively dry. The rain stopped in time for music to begin. After two opening acts, one of whom was Adam Gregory, Terri & Co. hit the stage and rocked the crowd. My first show in Canada was a great experience…..near fight with a drunk fan trying to push me and Cindy out of the way to get to the very front notwithstanding…
The crowd was really energized and it looked as though Terri and the band were having a great time.
After the show was over, we wound our way over to where the line was forming for the merchandise table for autographs….and it was huge! We all decided to just head back to the hotel and crash instead of standing for an autograph. All in all, it was a great first night of the TC Concert road trip.

Hey Terri just want to say can’t wait for July 25th show. We are hosting a horse show just outside of Iroquois Falls. If you are bored with the big town of IF join us at the show. Heck I can even have a horse there for ya.lol My daughter MacKayla is just dying to see you, she hasn’t stopped talking about it since we purchased the tickets. Sure hope she is able to meet and greet but haven’t heard anything so does that mean it’s a no? Anyways we are the big blue truck and trailer with She-Rock’s Painted Stables on it if you are interested in attending a decent horse show. Shelley
I just saw you at the Fergus truck show, show was awsome,but was very disapointed in the way the signatures were handled,you left about 20 fans standing there, we bought tickets to see you, paid admission to get in bought your cd and t-shirt, but was not worth your while staying for 10 more minutes to finish off the line of 20 people, can’t believe this, been a fan since you first started and i am so very disapointed how this was handled !!!!!!!!

I was layed off work in AUG.’08.Started a new job in Jan.’09.and I maybe layed off again in Aug.’09.These are things that have gotten me to here.

Terri Clark has completed work on a live CD, Road Rage, to be sold at her concerts and on her official Web site. The album, compiled from recordings made during her tours over the past few years, includes a cover version of “Hard to Handle,” the Otis Redding classic later popularized by the Black Crowes. Clark is planning the release of a new album, The Long Way Home, in September. Among the other tracks is “The One You Love,” featuring a guest appearance by Vince Gill. The album will be issued independently in the U.S. and on Capitol Records/EMI Music in Canada.

Terri Clark, one of Canada’s finest country music exports, cruised through Edmonton last week reacquainting herself with media types who are all well aware of the success she enjoyed from the mid-’90s until three years ago.
No sane individual is going to question Clark’s appeal for radio or retail. She has more than five million records sold, and those impressive numbers dovetail nicely with box-office ticket tallies.
Roadblocks do, however, appear in the strongest of showbiz careers, and around 2005 Clark found herself encountering challenges she hadn’t faced before. That it would take so much time to clear such hurdles remains a bit of surprise, but the award-winning singer-songwriter can see a stretch of clear countryside from where she sits today.
“I’ve just released a live album on my website, that we’ll be selling at shows and on iTunes,” a relaxed and affable Clark said over lunch at West Edmonton Mall, just after she had spent some time on air at CFCW.
“It’s a live greatest hits kind of disc fleshed out with a few tunes that were always show favourites, like Hard to Handle and Love Me Like a Man,” added Clark, who split from southern Alberta to Nashville as a youngster barely out of her teens.
With another full studio album on the way in early September, the next few months are a return to a pace Clark thrives on. Picking singles, rehearsing and gigging with her road band, making promotional pit stops and shooting videos is a routine she never tired of.
Two deals following her departure from the Mercury label were scuttled and a lot of work went for naught. There’s a lingering bitter taste regarding the deals that soured for the artist who was “thrown out in front of 20,000 people, opening for George Strait, at the age of 26.”
Yet, on the plus side, Clark’s gratitude toward her loyal fan base and her ability to still draw large crowds and appear in front of festival and fair audiences stateside overshadows any of the minuses.
“I’m also looking forward to getting in front of Canadian audiences in the near future and I’m really excited to see what the reaction to the studio album, The Long Way Home, will be when it gets released.”

The show at the fair was awesome last night. I didn’t get home until 3:30 this morning…and I’m up as I need to be in the office around 9am this morning. Oy. I did get some sleep in the backseat of Shell’s truck…thanks for driving, Shell. I’ll post more about the show later…it was just a perfect evening, from the m&g to the show…and even autographs afterwards. Total quality entertainment, I tell ya. Frannie will get on here when she wakes up and tell ya all about it! For now, Lord, I just need more coffee…;)
The new videos are cool to watch. I’ve always wondered how things go behind the scenes. I also got a kick out of seeing Rudy trotting all over the stage during rehearsal and hearing him playing with his squeaker toy

I am looking forward to seeing the Country Thunder show Sat.18th in Wisconsin. It’s been 2 years since I have seen TC. It looks like it is going to be nice weather in the mid/upper 70′s. Hopefully you will be selling the new live c.d. at the show. Thank you Terri for staying true to your creative vision and not releasing music you did not feel strong about. Hey Terri, I just wanted to say that I saw Jo Dee Messina in concert the other night, and I now realize your reasons more than ever for going independant with your music.
She has had a new CD done now for CURB for 2 years and it is still not being released. I know you had similar issues with BNA and now look, we are getting a new album from you September 1, so I know I was doubting the decision to leave a major label but now I say, good for you and I am so sorry for doubting your decision.

I had it this past spring for a good 2 weeks, and my dr ordered me not to work..so how you do what you do, I don’t know…but you’re awesome at it!
TC – just wanted to say how awesome it is to see you posting messages on here to keep us all informed. I know I can speak for everyone when I say how appreciated it is! We’re all being made to feel very at home here, and I love it!
Also can I say a huge CONGRATULATIONS on the Live CD coming out in a little over a week?!?! I can imagine this is something you’ve wanted to do for a long time seeing as it’s one of the first things out of the gate as far as new projects go, and I’m thrilled that we’re going to get to have you live in our cars, or at home when we can’t be at an actual show! It’ll be the next best thing.
Thank you for keeping us included during such an exciting time in your career, TC, and don’t work yourself too hard eh? I hope you’re recovering from the bronchitis and feeling back to your normal self ASAP! Can’t wait to pick up the new CD on the 23rd! YIPPEE!
I can’t wait for the new CD, I know it’s going to be great. I am always listening to TC when I am driving and it will be great to have some new driving music!
The other day I took my kitty cat to the vet and while I was waiting “In My Next Life” came on, it’s always nice to hear some TC while I am out and about and the radio is on.

The Live record will be available starting, July 23rd..We will be selling it at shows, and on this website, and Amazon.com. I- Tunes won’t have it until late August.
I am trying to keep you guys all updated, as Taylor is swamped trying to get the features together, and hasn’t had time to update the Live record info yet. As for the Ohio date this week, it was very last minute, and I only accepted the offer about 2 weeks ago, so I apologize for the late notice on that one. Anita can’t be there with us because she booked a date in Michigan on that day, that’s how last minute this was. I will be covering her acoustic parts as best I can, and trying to ” throw” my voice and sing her parts too- uh, NOT !!!

The new site looks great and I’m excited about the new music. Although it seems like Gypsy Boots has been around forever since I heard it live two years ago in concert ! LOL! I’m glad it’s finally getting released for the rest of the world !
I am a dissapointed though that fan club members could not be kept informed via mass e-mail of new tour dates that came up. I begged for an OHIO show this year and I find out less than a week ago that Terri will be in Proctorville, Ohio. Sure it’s a 5 hour drive from me, but it would have been worth it since I haven’t seen Terri for two years. The show I had tickets for last year got cancelled and now this one I didn’t even know about. Kind of dissapointing for a long time fan.
Oh well, maybe next time.
Would someone from Canada tell me when your count to Canada RR comes on….the RR web site is close and so is the one Trisha had is close too, so i can keep up where GB is….and when it going #1111….please let me know when the Canada RR is play on weekends…..

Welcome back online. I really like the new website so far…only thing is, I’m still on dial up, and parts of the website isn’t dial up friendly with the the youtube stuff.
But, I am still enjoying myself browsing around your new place.
I LOVED your journal entry! It was filled with such excitement that the words were just jumping off the page at me. I love to hear you be so happy and excited, and it renewed my excitement for your future as well.
I have a buddy who is going to pick up and mail me a copy of your new “Road Rage, TC LIVE” CD from a future concert. I can’t wait to get it. It’s been so long since I’ve seen you Terri. Way too long. But, please know that you have never been far from my thoughts, (and prayers).

How about some northeast tour dates. (Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia, Virginia)? Pick at least ONE, okay? Please? No worries everyone, Cathy, thanks for letting me know…you are right, I had NO clue who was shouting “happy birthday” to me…too many people were there, and I used it as an opportunity to be a smart ass about my age. It saddens me to hear that that his feelings were hurt…I hope he knows I wouldn’t intentionally heckle someone in a hurtful way, I never know what direction comments are coming from, and can barely make them out half the time, as I wear ear monitors.

Hi Cathy, as you stated yourself, “…and that you can’t see the people in the stands because of the lights. and can’t hear them very well”…you can’t exactly blame her for whatever happened…what he said and what she heard were probably two completely different things. NOW..I don’t know the whole story as I wasn’t there, but I know for a fact that TC would never intentionally hurt anybody…she’s the last person on earth you’d ever have to ask to be kind to other people.
I don’t want to start a big thing on here as we really don’t need it…but just consider the circumstances that are surrounding TC before you claim her to be ‘not very nice’ to someone…thanks
but other than that, i’m glad you enjoyed the show

Cathy, I am sure Terri would have never been intentionally mean to anyone. She was probably just being her good ol’ sarcastic self…and couldn’t see the crowd clearly. She cannot be expected to see and hear everything…cut the lady a break.

Terri, hi, I was at your concert on Sat.July 11, after waiting in the rain with my 2 grand daughterts. You came out and gave a great show. But at the begining of the show A special needs person that I did not know was standing next to me and told you happy birthday next month………….. Do you remember ? You were not very nice to him.He had tears in his eyes. I know that it is hard for you to do what you do and that you can’t see the people in the stands because of the lights. and can’t hear them very well either, but please try to be kind that next person might not understand. My granddaughters &I enjoyed your show very much. Thanks, Cathy

Just wanted to say what a GREAT GREAT night on july 4, what a way to end the 4th,at silver springs florida.there are no words to say, except love the new song, great job. it was well worth the 114temps. A very lucky day for all who were there hats off to you Terri.
Finally! I see that the Silverton concert was rescheduled. I was really disappointed when it was taken off, but now I’ve turned that frown upside down. I’ve got my meet & greet request in and have my fingers crossed. Who says that Friday the 13th is unlucky – it’s going to be a very lucky day for all of Terri’s Vegas fans.
